LAWRENCE COUNTY-On Tuesday, February 4 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a death due to a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Monday, February 3:
“A two-vehicle crash at 6:00 p.m. on February 3, 2020, has claimed the life of a Tuscumbia man.
Wesley David Whitfield, a 46-year-old male, was killed when the 2002 Chevy S-10 truck he was driving struck the rear-end of a 2009 Sierra truck and utility trailer. Whitfield was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on AL 157 near the Hatton Community located in Lawrence County.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
