Mary Lou Northington, 86, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020, at her residence. She was born in Prentiss County, MS to B.F. and Lundie Schoggins Moreland. She had worked at Golden Manufacturing and was a member of Liberty Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be Sunday, February 2, 2 p.m. at Liberty Church of Christ with David Conley officiating. Burial will be in Belmont Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by one son-Gary Northington of Dennis, MS; one daughter-Dianne Guin (Jim) of Marietta, MS; five grandchildren-Melody Pruitt (Jarett Taylor), Chris Phifer (Jana), Dennis Guin, Tony Guin (Jessica) and Tracy Guin (Jessica); eleven great-grandchildren-Landon Moore, Savanah Pruitt, McKeeleon Pruitt, Paige Phifer, Mia Phifer, Cade Phifer, Cory Guin, Jason Guin (Emily), Chip Guin (Emilee), Haley Beth Williams (Jacob) and Seth Guin; five great-great grandchildren-Layla Miller, Harper George, Chloe, Brinlee and Karson Guin; two sisters-in-law-Eunice Ware and Ann Yelverton (Charles); several nieces and nephews and her special caregivers-Mitzi Mitchell and Debbie Hastings.
She was preceded in death by her husband-Leon Frank Northington; her parents; sister-in-law-Ellen Sanders and three brothers-in-law-Toy, Jack and Leroy Northington.
Pallbearers will be Robert Cashion, Don Mitchell, Jimmy Northington, Randy Northington, Scott Northington and Jeff Ware.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 6-9 p.m. at Liberty Church of Christ.
