It is with regret that we announce the passing of Mr. Johnny Reese Martin, age 82, of Fayetteville, TN. Johnny was born on September 21, 1937 in Fayetteville, TN to the late Joe Reese and Wilma L. Smith Martin. He worked as a tool and die maker for Goodman Manufacturing and loved electronics. Johnny collected old cars to rebuild and made his own parts in his tool and die shop. Mr. Martin passed away on January 24, 2020 at Donalson Care Center.
Survivors include his sister, Sylvia Martin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister-in-law and care taker since his wife passed, Lisa Reese; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Martin, and brother-in-law, Kerry Reese.
Service arrangements will be announced at a later time by Higgins Funeral Home.
