Freddie Clinton James Mr. Freddie Clinton James, 71, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away January 17, 2020, at North Alabama Medical Center. Born in Franklin County, Alabama, he had lived in the area all of his life. A member of Union Hill Methodist Church, he was a retired sheet rock hanger.
Visitation with family and friends will be Monday, January 20, 2020, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be Daryl Rambo and Willie Cummings.
Burial will be at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Phil Campbell. Buddy Smith, Michael James and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. James is survived by his special friends Jason Trapp and Julie Trapp Wilson; siblings: Cecil E. James and wife Janet, Clarice James Robinson and Husband Robbie, and Orvie James, sister-in-law; nieces: Edith Baugh and husband Anthony, Patsy Barnes and husband Randy, Betsy Welch and husband William, Brenda Tidwell and husband Tony, Tina Ortiz, Baretta James, Becky White, Jill Hebda and husband Andrew; nephews: Buddy Smith and wife Carol, Micheal James and wife Lucy, David Robinson; great nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed James; sister, Clovis James Smith; brother, Cledis Wayne James, and nephew, Gilbert Wayne James.
Special thank you to Becky for all she has done and for being his Wal-Mart partner. Special thanks to the ICU nurses and Doctors at North Alabama Medical Center for their love and care shown. Special thanks and appreciation go to the staff of Russellville Health Care for always showing care and love. The family would also like to say thank you to his nieces Becky, Tina, Betsy, and Brenda for all their support, love, and care for him and to Jason during his battle.
