Harold Birdsong of Pulaski passed away Friday morning, January 17th, 2020 at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski. He was born on February 4th, 1939, in Pulaski and was 80 years old.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. Harold was a fixture at Morris Harwell & Son and the Outlook for many years. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Harold loved NASCAR racing, fishing, and doing woodwork.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 18th from 1:00pm until 4:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Sunday at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Debbie Eubanks officiating.
Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
The family suggest memorial donations be made to the Giles County Honor Guard c/o PO Box #321 Pulaski, TN 38478.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Mary Ellen Moore Birdsong along with his brothers Bobby and Rodger Birdsong.
He is survived by his:
Wife of 60 years, Joyce Clifton Birdsong of Pulaski.
Daughter, Wanda (Randy) Shook of Loretto, Tennessee.
Son, Brock (Suzanne) Birdsong of Pulaski.
Grandchildren, Brad King, Billy Shook, Kendria Shook, Kate Birdsong and Emma Birdsong.
4 great-grandchildren also survive.
Brother, Benny (Barbara) Birdsong of Pulaski.
Brother, Jim (Paulette) Birdsong of Pulaski.
Brother, Joe (Nancy) Birdsong of Pulaski.
Sister-in-law, Mike Birdsong of Pulaski.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
