Milton Dwight Hollingsworth

Milton Dwight Hollingsworth, 73, of Toney, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning.   He was a Christian, a faithful member and deacon of Woodland Hill Baptist Church, and had a passion for fishing and Alabama football.  Dwight had retired from Avex/Benchmark Electronics and served in the United States Air Force working as a jet engine mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton & Helen Hollingsworth.

Surviving family members include his wife of almost 52 years, Patricia “Pat” Smith Hollingsworth;  His daughter, Callie Lusk and her husband, Dean;  Two grandchildren: Nelson (Lauren) Lusk and Alaina Lusk.  He is also survived by his sister, Trenna (Arlyn) Larson, several nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 4pm at the funeral home with Rev. Stan Mullins and Rev. Gary Lawson officiating.
