Tuscumbia Fire Chief Arrested on Grand Jury Indictment

TUSCUMBIA – This just in… Fire Chief Rodney McAnally has been arrested in connection with an investigation into alleged illegal activities when he was serving as Littleville Volunteer Fire Department’s Fire Chief, a source has informed the Quad Cities Daily. The Grand Jury has been meeting this week, and was expected to report out their findings today.

While details are sketchy as of now, McAnally, accused of illegal acts in Littleville, was under investigation by the State Fire Marshall’s Office. He served there on a volunteer basis, as well as his permanent position as Tuscumbia’s Fire Chief. Tuscumbia Mayor Kerry Underwood, suspended McAnally with pay several days ago when he learned that an indictment was possible.
