Lola Mae (Thrasher) Darracott, 82, of Killen died Thursday, January 9, 2020, at her residence.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 12, 2020, 4-8 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday, January 13, 2020, 10 AM at First Baptist Church Center Star with Bro. Ronnie Jones officiating. Burial will be at Rogersville Civitan Cemetery.
Mrs. Darracott was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amy Marie Bosman; grandson, Jacob David Roach; parents, Clarence and Alpha Thrasher; sisters, Betty Williams and Wanda Anderson; brother, Robert “Bob” Thrasher.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Carlton “Carl” Darracott; children, Deborah Bosman (Keith), Daniel Darracott (Pamela), Laurie Roach (David), Randy Darracott (Michelle), Steven Darracott (Jodi), Rodney Darracott (Venita), and William Darracott (Amy); sisters, Virginia Moore (Larry) and Pauline Goroski (Matt); seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Steven Darracott, Jr., Zachary Darracott, Caleb Darracott, Jared Darracott, Carlton Roach, and Joshua Darracott. Honorary pallbearer will be Isaac Darracott.
