Heather LeeEllen Golden, age 39, of Arab, had her life taken on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at her residence.
Heather was born on November 17, 1980 in Madison County to Johnny Morgan Golden & Kathy Golden. She loved being outdoors watching butterflies, tending to flowers and searching for arrow heads. Her hobbies included visiting antique & thrift stores. She was full of personality and loved to laugh. Heather was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.
Heather is survived by her son, Drew Preston Golden; mother & step father, Kathy Golden Ponder (Davis); brothers, Kevin Morgan Golden & Jason Golden (Jennifer); sister, Tammy Williams (Mike); grandmother, Martha Mason; nephews, Jamie Williams (Courtney), Jeremy Williams, Clayton Golden, Mason Golden, Collin Golden, Jon Ross Hyatt; nieces, Madison Golden, Shanleigh Golden, Carleigh Powell (Kyle); 3 great nieces. Preceded in death by her father, Johnny Morgan Golden.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Andy Brown & Bro. Tim Lynch officiating. Burial will be in the Sweet Home Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
Pallbearers will include Jamie Williams, Jeremy Williams, Clayton Golden, Mark Morrow, Chase Maze & Kyle Powell.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel to help with the expense of the funeral.
