Bobbie Nell Kennedy Ewing, 84, died Thursday, January 2, 2020 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. She was born in Nauvoo, AL and was retired as a nurse at Highland Park Hospital in Highland Park, IL.  She was a member of Zion Second Baptist Church in Zion, IL and Al-Anon Group which she started in Winthrop Harbor, IL.

Services will be Sunday, January 5, 3 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God, Red Bay, AL with Bro. David Kelley and Tracie Ewing officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are two daughters – Tracie Lee Ewing, Red Bay, AL and Stacey Nell Ewing, Florence, AL; four grandchildren – Bradford Ray, Lexington, KY, Cody Allen Johnson (Lauren) Belmont, MS, Avanell Victoria Stark, Florence, AL and Conroy Wade Johnson (Ashley) Golden, MS and two great-grandchildren – Kathryn Mia Johnson and Harper Grace Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Voyd Lee Ewing, a son, Allen Dale Kerr, her parents, Albert Terry and Jessie Lee Ferguson Kennedy, five sisters, Evelyn Coleman, Adeen Spencer, Marcene Johnston, Johnnie Ruth Young and Agnes Moran and one brother, Charles T. Kennedy.

Pallbearers will be Bradford Ray, Cody Allen Johnson, Conroy Wade Johnson, Austin Ewing, James Allen Vick and Avanell Victoria Stark.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 5, 2-3 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God.
