The Colbert County Community Development Committee is comprised of three local appointed citizens, David Isom, Stacy Norwood, and Waylon Huguley. The Colbert County Judge of Probate, Daniel Rosser serves as Chairman of this board.

Rep. Andrew Sorrell was on hand to  present one of the checks to Sheriff Frank Williamson. The funds total $9,000 and will be used to purchase ballistic bullet proof vests for our department.

“We so greatly appreciate the generosity of the donations and we thank the committee for making the grant money possible,” said Colbert County Sheriff Frank Williamson.
