Frances J. Taylor – Obituary

Frances J. Taylor, 77, of Decatur died Friday, November 23, 2012 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital Emergency Room in Florence. Her funeral will be Wednesday, November 28th. at 12:00 noon at Freeman Tabernacle Church in Moulton.  She will be placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral.  Burial will follow in Moulton Memory Gardens.

An extraordinary and loving mom, Frances was granted and accepted her wings early November 23, 2012 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, AL.

She was preceded in death by her husband; William Melvin Taylor, her parents; Earnest and Mary Alice Vinson, 2 daughters, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

She was born on January 10, 1935 in Courtland AL.  Her husband passed away on July 22, 1995.  She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Wheeler Chapel Church in Courtland, AL then later moved her membership to Freeman Tablenacle Baptist Church in Moulton.

She leaves to cherish her memories 2 sons; Frank (Ann) Taylor of Hartselle, AL and Michael (Eve) Taylor of North Courtland, five daughters; Sandra Clack of Atlanta, GA, Melvina (Earl) Watkins of Moulton, AL, Reba Davenport of Hartselle, AL, Yvonne Cox (Gregory) of Atlanta, GA, Veronica Taylor of Florence, AL and 2 grandchildren that she raised as her own; Adrain Burney of Bibb, AL and Renee Burney of Madison, AL, 2 sisters; Bessie Owens of Moulton, AL and Ronnie (Harvey) Brown both of Moulton, AL, 3 sister-in-laws; Bernice (Charlie) Bates, Nellie (David) Holifield and Ollie Surles all of Decatur, AL, 1 brother-in-law; Walter Lee Taylor of Yonkers, NY, 32 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 3 special daughters; Lisa Orr, Pamela Davis and Alice Ricks and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives as well as loyal and supportive friends.

Public viewing will be Monday and Tuesday, November 26th. and 27th.  from 10:00-7:00 here at the funeral home.
