Roy Lomenick, 68, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, November 24, 2012, at his residence. He was a member of Hubbard Salem Community Church. He was formerly employed for the City of Iuka, Brewer’s Escort, and Williams Tire Service before his retirement. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Sunday, November 25 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Monday, November 26, 2012, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Franky Smith. Interment will follow in Centerhill Community Cemetery in Counce, TN. Pallbearers include Don McNeely, Eugene Yarber, Ben Burns, David Nichols, Todd Williams, Stevie Johnson, Dustin Mooney, and Jamie Enlow. Honorary bearers will be Anita Mitchell and Doug Jones. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Lomenick of Iuka; 2 sons – Barry Allred of Dennis, MS and Mark Lomenick of Illinois; 2 step sons – James C. Johnson (Bridgett) and Casey Johnson, both of Iuka; 1 daughter – Sharon Clingan of Iuka; 3 step daughters – Emma Rhodes (Tim) of Burnsville, Amanda Largent (Tim) and Jennifer Ariola (Hector), both of Iuka; 1 brother – Luther “Brownie” Lomenick of Iuka; 4 sisters – Jewel Wingo, Linda Arnold, and Diane Johnson, all of Iuka, and June Luttrell of Illinois; 1 special sister in law, Janet Lomenick of Iuka; 22 grandchildren – Joshua Clingan (Jessica), Shaleigh Clingan, Crystal Largent, Nathan Barnes, Britney Barnes, Kaylee Johnson, Cal Johnson, Casey Gurno, Keely Hammock, and 13 other grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren – Joshua Eli Clingan and Makayla Johnson and 4 other great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling and Ruby Lomenick; his son, Robert Lomenick; two daughters, Vanessa Cannon and Shandra Lomenick; one sister, Shirley Robinson; and two brothers, Tommy and James Lomenick.
