Funeral Service for Agnes Gunter Grimes of Holly Pond will be at 11 AM, December 4th, 2019, at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Randy Burtram & Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating. The interment will be in the New Hope #2 Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Grimes went to be with the Lord December 2, 2019, at the age of 83. She was born November 8, 1936 to Hoyt Dennis Gunter & Ruth Elrod Gunter. She was a loving wife, mother, grand-mother and great grand-mother. Mrs. Grimes was dedicated to her church and she taught Sunday School for 60 years.
She was preceded in death by her Parents – Hoyt Dennis Gunter & Ruth Elrod Gunter; her Sisters – Martha Ann & Betty Jane; her Brothers-in Law, – Jack Watts, Donald Wright & James Mabrey.
She is survived by her Husband of 63 years – Frank Grimes; her Son – Wade (Janey) Grimes; her Daughter – Tena (Alan) Humphrey; her Grandchildren – Tyler Grimes, Lance Smith, Isaac Humphrey, Jacob Humphrey, Richard (Maranda) Roberson, Jana (Tyler) Childers; her Great Grandchildren – Memphis & Joplin Grimes, Trey, Tyce and Tagan Roberson; her Sisters – Helen Watts, Geraldine (Wayne) Morris, Brenda Wright; her Brother – Donald (Joyce) Gunter; her Sister-in Laws – Earnestine Mabrey & Jane Brock; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 3, 2019, from 6-8 PM at Cullman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Keith Watts, Mitch Morris, Mike Morris, Ross Smith, Ronnie McGriff, Randy King, Royce Jean, Randy Robbins.
