MUSCLE SHOALS-On Sunday, December 1 around 3:30 PM authorities from the Muscle Shoals PoliceĀ were called to the south side of the Singing River Bridge near the TVA Rock Pile by a pedestrian regarding a body found in the water.
Colbert County coroner, Justin Gasque identified the body on Monday as that of James Allan Hovis, 40 of Sheffield.
The coroner’s office reports foul play is not suspected.
