Elzie E. Hale, Jr., 84, of Killen, died Sunday, November 17, 2019 at his residence.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20, 2019, from noon until 2 pm at Elkins East Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 2 pm in the Chapel with Bro. Bobby Walton and Bro. Ian Butler officiating.  Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery.

Junior was a member of Center Star United Methodist Church and past district lecture of the Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of Killen Masonic Lodge 788 and the Eastern Star.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jean Hale; daughter, Amanda Lynn Pettus (Donnie); son, Rickey Hale; five grandchildren, Emilie Talcott (Robbie), Brandon Hale, Nichole Hale, Todd Pettus, and Hanna Smith (Jonathan); five great-grandchildren, Makenzie Hale, Baylee Hale, Grant and Gavin Talcott, and Jacob Depolis; half sisters, Diane Mason (Bobby), Dalene Hall Labatut, and Shelia Howell; and half brother, Jack Hall.

Pallbeareres will be Todd Pettus, Brandon Hale, Ian Butler, Jonathan Smith, Robbie Talcott, and Richard Laxton.
