The Graveside Service for Oetta Wales Adcock, 99, of Athens, will be Thursday November 14, 2019 at 2 P.M. at Roselawn Cemetery with Bill Irby officiating. Visitation will be Thursday November 14, 2019 from 12-2 at McConnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Adcock passed away on Monday November 11, 2019 at Limestone Health Facility. She was born December 6, 1919. Mrs. Adcock was a member of Hobbs St. Church of Christ.
She is preceded in to death by her parents, husband Charles C. Adcock, and seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her two daughters Edith Russell, and Doris Pepper both of Athens, one brother Hugh Wales of Athens, four grandchildren Gina Downs, Delania King, Tim Pepper, and Tammy Cargile, seven great-grandchildren, and fourteen great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Baker, Jimmy Downs, Tim Pepper, Bo Cargile, Drew Downs, and Jonathan Downs. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Southern Care Hospice.
