Eunice Knox Eunice P. Knox, age 92, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at NHC Oakwood, Lewisburg, Tennessee.

Eunice was born on January 26, 1927 in rural Carroll County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Sidney Lonzo Perritt and Zena Francisco Perritt. Eunice was a member of the Culleoka Church of Christ. She was the wife of Robert F. Knox, Sr. for sixty-four years. Eunice loved walking and could be seen walking four miles a day on the backroads of Culleoka. She loved gardening and cooking. She did a lot of cooking and cleaning for church members who were ill or alone. She was kindhearted and caring in nature.

The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Services will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with Bob Vassar officiating.

Eunice is survived by her children Robert (Ginny) Knox of Monroe, GA, James (Janet) Knox of Lewisburg, TN, and Alecia (Aubrey) Cheatham of Brookneal, VA; six grandchildren Sheila (Butch) Shepherd, Shane (Jessica) Knox, Shamay Knox, Kimberly (Rob) Cribley, Jennifer (Steve) Dickson, and Carissa (CJ) Sellick; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister Dottie Theadgill of Nashville; two very special friends of the family: Terry Grobels (like a third son) from Punta Gorda, FL and Frankie Lyttle of Lewisburg, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband Robert and two brothers Frank and James Wallace Perritt.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Cribley, Daniel Knox, Wesley Shepherd, Gavin Dickson, Frankie Lyttle, Jacob Shepherd, and Grayer Warren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NHC Oakwood patient recreation department.
