Bobby Joe Davis Bobby Joe Davis a native of Maury County, age 87, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Bobby Joe was born on May 25, 1932 in Maury County to Hubert Davis and Edna Workman. Bobby Joe began working at the young age of fifteen. He enjoyed working and would move from shop to shop until they found out his age. He worked from sun up to sun down. He worked hard for his family and his farm. He raised cattle and took great care of them. When Bobby had down time, he enjoyed watching Westerns. Bobby Joe enjoyed bringing everyone together, especially during the holidays. He helped to create a fun and joyful environment for family gatherings. He deeply loved and cared for his family.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Services will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Dickey Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at Blowing Springs. Military honors will be provided by The American Legion Herbert Griffin Post 19.

Bobby Joe is survived by his children Richard Davis, Bobby (Donna) Davis, Michael (Sonya) Davis, Johnny (Tammy) Davis, Sharon (Elmer) Boshers, and Juanita Hinson; grandchildren Brittany Davis, Ashlyn Davis, Cooper Davis, Casey (Justin) Boshers, Keith Hinson, Amber Davis, Jason Boshers, Joseph Boshers, and April Bobo; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother Dickey Davis; sister Nita Workman; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bobby Joe was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Elliott Davis; parents Hubert and Edna Davis; four sisters and one brother.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be The American Legion Herbert Griffin Post 19.
