March 2, 1932-November 6, 2019

On November 6, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed over to heaven. She spent the last few years on Earth at Barfield Nursing Home.

Julia was a long time resident of the Warrenton area. She was a stay at home mother and homemaker.

Julia was always involved in her community and church activities. She served many years on the Warrenton Elementary PTA, The Community Club and other civic organizations. She also served as a Cub Scout Mother and Girl Scout leader.

She was involved in Warrenton Baptist Church for over 45 years. She servied as WMU director, taught Sunday school, and helped with hundreds and hundreds of children through Vacation Bible School and countless other activities for decades.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Myles Leach, her parents and 4 of her brothers.

She is survived by on brother, Moses Sparks of Weston, WI.

Daughters; Margaret Jeannette Leach and her children Josh Kirkland, Heather Turner, and Julia Puckett.

Alva Kemp (Fred) and Derick Kemp, Lenora Swords (Steven), Children Breanna Swords and Daylah Swords.

Son; Greg Leach (Deneen) Children; Gregory Leach, Hannah Yost, Mariah Leach.

13 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Carr Funeral Home Guntersville on Saturday November 9, 2019 10am-12pm. Funeral will follow immediately at 12pm.
