TENNESSEE VALLEY-Due to the bitter cold and possible light dusting over night some schools will delay or close:

Athens City Schools – 2-hour delay for students and employees

Boaz City – 2 hour delay

Colbert County Schools – 2-hour delay

Country Day School – 2-hour delay

Covenant Christian School – 2 hour delay

Cullman City Schools [-  Delayed 2 hours

Cullman County Schools – 2-hour delay

Decatur City Schools – 2-hour delay

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy – 2-hour delay

DeKalb County Schools – 2-hour delay

First Baptist Child Dev Center (Madison) – Opening at 9:00 a.m.

Fort Payne City Schools – 2-hour delay

Franklin County (AL) Schools – 2-hour delay

Hartselle City Schools – 2-hour delay; All 12-month employees report at normal time

Huntsville Achievement School – Delayed 2 hours

Huntsville City Schools – 2-hour delay. Elementary, middle and junior high classes begin at 10 a.m. High schools begin at 10:30 a.m.

Jackson County Schools – 2-hour delay

John Paul II High School – 2-hour delay

Lauderdale County Schools – Delayed 2 hours

Lawrence County (AL) Schools – 2-hour delay

Limestone County Schools – 2-hour delay

Lincoln Academy – 2-hour delay

Madison Academy – 2 hour delay

Madison Baptist Academy – 2 hour delay

Madison City Schools – 2-hour delay

Madison County Schools – 2-hour delay

Mars Hill Bible School, Florence – 2-hour delay

Marshall County Schools – 2-hour delay

Morgan County Schools – 2-hour delay

Oakwood Adventist Academy – 2 hour delay

Russellville City Schools – 2-hour delay

St. John Paul II Catholic -2 hour delay

Valley Fellowship Christian Academy – Starting at 10 a.m.

Westminster Christian Academy – 2-hour delayValley Fellowship Christian Academy – Starting at 10 a.m.

Arc of Madison County – Open at normal time, Buses will not run on November 12
Business Closings and Delays

Heart of the Valley YMCA [- Opening at 10:00 a.m.

Redstone Arsenal will open under normal operations, at this time. Employees are asked to contact their supervisors for liberal leave or further information.
YMCA Early Childhood Education Centers and branches in Huntsville and Madison will open at 10 a.m.
