Walter Stanton Stinson, age 89, of Athens, Alabama formerly of Albertville died November 9, 2019, at his residence.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Stinson was born in Florida on March 12, 1930, to Walter and Hattie Hart Stinson. He was a retired Boilermaker, successful entrepreneur and friend to all. He was proud Korean War Army Veteran and a Silver Star recipient for Pork Chop Hill.
He is survived by his Son: Stan Stinson of Athens, Daughter: Stacy Stinson of Lebanon, Tennessee, Granddaughter: Savannah Stinson of Lebanon, Tennessee, Special Friend: Tina Ford of Athens, Sister: Marilyn David of Ocala Florida.
