Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Lyman J. Partin, age 89 of Decherd. Mr. Partin passed away in the early morning hours of November 10, 2019. A native of Franklin County, he worked at Wilton Corporation, retiring following 30 years of service. He will be remembered as a man with high moral values with a strong work ethic. In his working years, he arose at daylight and worked his farm until time to go to work on the second shift at Wilton. On his farm he raised cattle and goats and in his spare time visited flea markets on a regular basis. Mr. Partin is preceded in death by his mother Josephine Ritter Partin and his father, Roosevelt Partin; daughter, Deborah Joan Partin; sisters, Nancy Sherrill and Katherine Craig and an infant sister, Stella Partin. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Peggy Stephens Partin; daughter, Brenda Sue Partin Lee of Decherd; step-daughters, Lola Walls and Kathy (Steven) Walls, Jeanne (Jackie) Branch, all of Decherd, and Belinda Gipson of Tullahoma; sisters, Julia Walls of Decherd and Georgia Limbaugh of Winchester; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home Monday November 11, 2019 between the hours and 5 and 8 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday November 12, 2019 with the Rev. Spencer Van Order of the White Oak Grove Church of God officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Frank Sabo, Cage Sabo, Derrick Everett, Robert Dudley, Wade Sanson and Michael Stephens serving as pallbearers.
