TUSCUMBIA-The location of the Veterans Day concert featuring Darryl Worley at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame has been moved due to the weather.

The concert previously scheduled at the outdoor stage at the Alabama Music Hall of  Fame has been relocated to Launch Point Church in Tuscumbia.

“Everything is still the same, the concert has just moved a couple blocks down the street,” said Sandra Burrough, director.

Country music superstar Darryl Worley and Billy Lawson are teaming up for a Veterans Day concert at Launch Point Church on Monday, November 11. The concert will raise money to send military veterans to Washington, D.C. and is being organized by the City of Tuscumbia and Mayor Kerry Underwood.

The trips to Washington will be administered by Honor Flight Network, a non-profit organization that assists veterans. The group focuses on helping World War II and disabled veterans visit military monuments in the Washington, D.C. area.

The concert starts at 6 p.m. Pre-concert activities begin at 4:30 p.m. A fireworks show will follow the concert. Admission is $20. Tickets are available at eventbrite.com and The Alabama Music Hall of Fame, The Shoppes at Coldwater, Tuscumbia City Hall, Tuscumbia Library, Valley Credit Union and Fiddle De Dee’s. They will also be sold at the gate on the day of the concert.
