Hubert Max WhiteHubert Max White of Pulaski passed away Wednesday morning, November 6, 2019, at NHC of Pulaski. He was born in Minor Hill, Tennessee on April 20th, 1940 and was 79 years of age.
Max held an advanced degree in mathematics. He was a veteran of the Tennessee Army National Guard achieving the rank of Colonel. He was retired from the Pulaski Electric System. During his retirement he was a Boy Scout leader and was able to take the same group of 14 boys from Tiger Cub to Eagle Scout. Twice Max and his son, Bert, attended Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. Max was also a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church. Some things he enjoyed doing during his life where woodworking, snow skiing in the Rockies, and flying a personal plane. He adored his family and was a devoted father and husband.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 8th, 2019, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 6:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Burial with full military honors will be in the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221 at a later date.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Giles County Humane Society c/o PO BOX 237 Pulaski, Tennessee 38478 or the Giles County Library c/o 122 S 2nd St, Pulaski, TN 38478 or the charity of your choice.
He is preceded in death by his parents Onis and McKeller Boyd White along with his brother James Joseph White and sister-in-law, Glenda White.
He is survived by his;
Wife of 37 years, Kimberly Jones White of Pulaski.
Son, Bert (Madison) White of Nashville.
Daughter, Gina Leigh (Ray) Pascoal of Missisauga Ontario, Canada.
Sisters, Mary Adams, Sarah (Don) Oakley, and Jane Conover
Sister-in-law, Kandye J. Gates
Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
