Mr. John M. Gurley, age 76, of Fayetteville, North Carolina departed this life on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his children,: Anne R. Strong (Marshall), Melinda Davis and Cassandra F. Minter; special friend, Jean Thompson; fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 12 noon, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the New Life Bible Church (1420 Hoke Loop Road, Fayetteville, NC 28314). Interment will be in Sandhills State Veteran Cemetery in Fort Bragg, NC.
Public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Wiseman Mortuary (431 Cumberland Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301; 910-483-7111).
The Gurley family will receive guests from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at the funeral home.
