Charles Ronald Liddell, 75, a resident of Madison, Alabama, passed away on November 4th, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Charles Bond Liddell and Evelyn Jeffries Liddell, and by his wife of over forty years, Anita Wainwright Liddell.
After graduating from Huntingdon University with a degree in Mathematics, he worked as a computer program analyst, including employment with companies connected with NASA, Boeing, and the U. S. government. In fact, he helped write programs that would support the Saturn, Apollo, and International Space Station endeavors. He was present at an exciting time for the space race, and his team even helped track the astronauts on the Apollo 11 Moon landing in 1969. He earned many certificates and letters of appreciation from NASA.
Besides an early interest in playing golf, and in spending quite a bit of time “obeying” their hefty Chow dog, Leo, his interests included an enjoyment of Turner Classic Movies and a lifetime dedication to and obsession with his Crimson Tide.
Many thanks to Madison Manor for making his final phase of life as comfortable and carefree as was humanly possible. Decisions on in-remembrance will follow.
