ALBERTVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued a statement concerning a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of one person near Albertville:
A single-vehicle crash at 8:35 p.m. Friday, November 1, has claimed the life of an Albertville woman.
Judy Ray Ramos, 39, was killed when the 2006 Chrysler 300 driven by Jason Dwayne Cason, 41, of Albertville, left the roadway and overturned. Ramos, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Cason was injured and transported to a local area hospital.
The crash occurred on Nixon Chapel Road five miles south of Albertville. Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.
