Jerry Wayne Kelley, 70, of Sheffield, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Visitation will be Sunday, November 3, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Monday, November 4, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dwight Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in Mynot Cemetery.
Jerry was a native of Cherokee and a disabled diesel mechanic. He loved to wheel and deal at the flea markets. Jerry was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lonnette Kelley; daughter, Teresa Kelley; parents, Lloyd and Mildred Kelley; and brothers, Donald, Jackie, and Tommy.
Jerry is survived by his children, Karen Swinney (Rico), Marjorie Leeth (Troy), Jerry Kelley (Michelle), Marilyn Rivers (Chris), and Melinda Montgomery (Jeff); brothers, Tony, Timmy, an Stevie Kelley; sisters, Kathy Church, Linda Basden, and Marie Gay; grandchildren, Adam Harville, Michael Roy Norris III, Amanda Harville, Jeremy Wayne Norris, Logan Leeth, Jacob Kelley, Hunter Rivers, Susan Leeth, Abigail McDaniel, Jordan Kelley, Caleb Rivers, Kelsey Rivers, and Caden Koger; 10 great-grandchildren,; and a host of nieces and nephews.
