Earline Phillips – Obituary

EARLENE PHILLIPS

was born on February 4, 1932 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Lewis Walker and Letha Emiline (Faulkner) Shepard. She married Willie Eugene Gene Phillips in October of 1948 and he preceded his wife in death on August 9, 2007.

Earlene retired from Cross Country Apparel, where she worked as a machine operator. She was a member of Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church. Earlene was known to be a very free hearted person.

She departed this life on November 16, 2012 at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 12 days.

Earlene is survived by five daughters, Barbara Cameron of LaVergne, Tennessee, Teresa Baker of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Shelia Turnbow of Crump, Tennessee, Caroline White of Savannah, Tennessee and Diane Holcombe of Waterloo, Alabama. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
