FLORENCE-On 4th weekend every October the Alabama Renaissance Faire comes to Wilson Park. Wilson Park in Florence transforms into Fountain-on-the-Green. “Faire-goers celebrate their favorite time periods from the 12th through the mid-17th centuries, as Vikings hobnob with Buccaneers and fairies frolic with pirates.” This year was no exception and the rain could not stop the determined folk of “The Green” from selling their wears or partaking of the roasted turkey legs and mead….the Quad Cities Daily joined in the festivities and snapped a fe photos of sll the fun…ENJOY!
