LIMESTONE COUNTY-On Thursday, October 24 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a one-vehicle accident that has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash at 8:09 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, has claimed the life of an Elkmont man.
Theo Calvin Vasser, 87, was seriously injured when the 2003 GMC Sonoma he was driving left the roadway on Interstate 65 and overturned. Vasser was transported to Athens-Limestone Hospital where he died of his injuries. The crash occurred five miles north of Athens.
Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.”
