Linda A. Stubblefield, age 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 at her home in Madison Alabama. She was born January 11th, 1949 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Nebraska to James T. Muchmore and Evelyn (Yendra).
She is survived by her son, James R. Stubblefield of Madison, Alabama; and daughter, Cindy K. Edwards of Huntsville, Alabama; and brother Ken Muchmore of Kearney, Nebraska; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Steven.
She graduated from Gibbon High School in 1968. She spent her earlier career as an educator in the medical field and truly lived to teach. In 1997 she was a graduate of Athens State University. Later in life, she enjoyed knitting, sudoku, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her friends, family, and grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at James Stubblefield’s home on Sunday, Oct. 27th, at 4:00 pm.
Funeral Services and entombment of ashes are pending in Kearney, Nebraska with Horner-Lieske-McBride & Kuhl Funeral Home, 2421 Avenue A, will be in charge of arrangements there.
