Vernelle Stanfield, age 94, of Boaz, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Diversicare in Boaz.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will at Forrest Home Cemetery. Rev. Don Self and Rev. Wayne Roden will officiate. Pallbearers will be Levi Lee, Kenneth Smith, James Giles, Seth Moore, Tony Burgess and Anthony Burgess. Honorary pallbearers will be Whit Stephens and Grant Garner.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2 before the service.
She is survived by her son, Robert Brown (Martha), eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and eleven great great-grandchildren, and sister, Sue Jordan.
She is preceded in death by her son, Charles Brown, brothers, Cecil and John Stanfield, sister, Mary Lou Stanfield, grandson, Wesley Garner and great-grandson, Justin Garner.
