Roy Lee Jarrett, age 85 of Athens, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born May 21, 1934 in Limestone County to Willie Carl Jarrett and Birdie Haggermaker Jarrett.
Funeral services for Mr. Jarrett will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Tim Keenum and Taylor Calder officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sardis Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was a member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jarrett; daughters, Betty Marshall (David) and Brenda Jackson (Phil); sons, Tony Jarrett (Kristi), James Woody Jarrett and Travis Jarrett; brothers, Buford Jarrett and David Jarrett; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Wesley Adams, Matthew Jarrett, Chris Moses, Chuck Blahut, Cody Dunnavant and B.J. Jarrett.
