Ms. Huggins passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Debbie Huggins was born on Thursday, March 15, 1951, to the late Frank William Norris and Ethel Louise Murino Norris in Memphis, TN. She married Richard Huggins on July 25, 1980. She retired from ACE in 2012 after six years caring for the elderly, and she worked thirteen years in the Bolivar Elementary School Cafeteria. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Jackson, TN.

She was a former member of Grand Valley Lakes Ladies Club, and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Memphis, TN in 1969. She enjoyed gardening, reading, shopping, fishing, playing bingo, watching the Tennessee Volunteers, going to Disney, and spending time with her grandchildren. She resided in Grand Valley Lakes for 32 years and lived in Memphis, TN, prior to that.

She is survived by a daughter, Misty Lynn Chessor (Kenny) of Guys, TN; a son, Keith “Bubba” Huggins (Leslie) of Rutherford, TN; a sister, Sherry Miller of Saulsbury, TN; a brother, Terry Norris (Gwen) of Eads, TN; six grandchildren, Braden Huggins, Aaron Denbow, Dylan Huggins, Julian Chessor, Charlie Chessor, and Gracie Chessor; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Huggins, on January 1, 2004; her parents, Frank William Norris and Ethel Louise Murino Norris; a son, Bobby Anthony Hill; and a brother-in-law, John Miller.
