ATHENS-Not only will we have all-day live music from seven great bands and tons of food choices but, we will also have exciting activities for the kids to enjoy.  Athens State University is sponsoring an inflatable obstacle course, basketball toss, arts and crafts and carnival games galore. The Kids Zone will be open from 11:30 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.

Both kids and adults love our quirky Grease Festival games and contests.  All games and contests have both adult and youth divisions.  Dress in a Toga and get $1 off admission, then join the Toga Contest at 12:30 P.M. for a prize of $50 Toga Bucks to be used at our Downtown shops and restaurants.

At 1:45 P.M. test your strength and see just how far you can toss a Frozen Turkey!  Winner gets $50 Toga Bucks. When 2:45 P.M. rolls around our food warriors will prepare for a great challenge; The Dubs Burger Eating Contest. Enter the contest and see if you have what it takes to win $50 Toga Bucks.

Our last game is at 3:45 P.M.   Compete in the Football Toss to see how many footballs you can toss on target in 15 seconds for your chance to win $50 in Toga Bucks!

Come and celebrate all things battered and fried from 11:00 A.M – 7:00 P.M. Our “Extra Crispy” celebration will be enhanced with a “Special Sauce” of beer and wine that is new to the festival this year! Tickets are only five dollars for adults, $3 for children 2yrs – 12yrs, under 2 free. Proceeds will support revitalization efforts in Downtown Athens.
