John Wesley Sanders of Bethel Springs, Tennessee John Wesley Sanders was born May 7, 1950 in Shelby County, TN the son of the late Earnest A. and Ola Belle Ross Sanders.

He was united in marriage to Martha Louise Laughlin on October 9, 1969.

Mr. Sanders served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1967- 1974. He received his orders to Vietnam the same day his daughter was born and later shipped out for one year. He was was proud to be a Marine.

After returning home, he started Delta Sandblasting in Alameda, California. For over 20 years, he sandblasted and painted battleships. In the movie, Top Gun, the U.S.S. Enterprise was sandblasted and painted by John’s company. He was a member of Local 1176 Painters Union in San Francisco, CA. He retired his business and moved to Tennessee in 1996. During his retirement years: he enjoyed fishing, riding the four wheeler, caring for the horses and his farm. He loved sitting on the front porch in the early mornings drinking his coffee and appreciating God’s creations.

Mr. Sanders departed this life on October 3, 2019 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 4 Months, 26 Days. He is survived by his wife, Louise Sanders of Bethel Springs, TN; daughter, Shelia Kile and husband Mike of Bossier City, LA; two sons, Johnny Sanders and wife Jeannie of Bethel Springs, TN, Jerry Sanders and wife Jennifer of Bethel Springs, TN; step daughter, Debbie Eubanks of Selmer, TN;three brothers, Leroy Sanders of Wyoming, Billy Joe Sanders and wife Bonnie of Stockton, CA, Ricky Sanders and wife Anna of Arbuckle, CA; three sisters-in-law, Joyce Sanders of Petaluma, CA, Paula Sanders of Montana, Betty Sanders of Memphis, TN; 19 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by stepson, Kent Brown; three grandchildren, Samantha Sanders, Jessica Sanders, Jessie Sanders; three sisters, Ruby, Lily, and Polly Sanders; sister-in-law, Linda Sanders; three brothers, Robert Sanders, Earnest A. (Buddy) Sanders Jr., Paul Ed Sanders.
