Linda Dianne Murray Mims, 60 of Russellville, Alabama was born July 25, 1958 to the late Charles Murray and Thelma Ruth Robinette Murray. Linda died Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital In Decatur, Alabama.
Dianne was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother; and a caring friend to all. She dedicated 35 years to working as the secretary at Tharptown Junior High School. Thelma worked for 17 years as a CNP in the lunchroom at Tharptown School. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was a devoted Alabama fan, Roll Tide. With that in mind, the family asks that you wear your favorite Alabama attire to the visitation and service.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Helen Keller Ambulance Service, Russellville Fire Department, Decatur Morgan Hospital CCU Units and to all of the doctors and nurses. Also a special thanks to Melanie Malone, Alacare Home Health, and a very special niece, Johnnie Faye Brazell for your love and care.
Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville, Alabama.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel.
Officiating: Bro. Jeremy Seal.
Burial: Bethlehem Cemetery (Mountain Star, Franklin County, Alabama).
Pallbearers: Dustin Murray, Matt Murray, Grayson Murray, Hunter Godsey, David Gibson, Ryan Murray, Kaleb Bearden, Jake Bearden, and Thomas Swinney.
Honorary Pallbearer: Landon McClellan.
