Mr. Gene Gale Smallwood, age 82 of Madison, AL passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Madison Hospital. Mr. Smallwood was born on January 2, 1937 in Washington D.C. to Howard Henry Smallwood and Ada King Smallwood.
Mr. Smallwood is survived by his wife, Barbara Smallwood of Madison, AL; nephew, Gary King Smallwood II of Glenn Allen, VA; niece, Melissa Jordan (John) of Madison, AL.
Mr. Smallwood was of the Methodist faith. He enlisted in the Marine Corps as a Private and retired as a Captain on the battlefield in Vietnam.
