ST. FLORIAN-The Oktoberfest celebration began on the grounds of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Florian and has now spread to the adjacent Saint Florian Community Park…to the Senior Center and site of the future Town Hall.
Oktoberfest not only recognizes and celebrates the German heritage of the early settlers of St. Florian, it also celebrates the heritage and the lives of all those who came later who were, and are, so important to the Town of St. Florian. This past Saturday, October 5 was no exception. The fun, music, vendors and great folks of St Florian made this Oktoberfest the best yet and the Quad Cities Daily was on hand soaking up the October sun and all the St. Florian fun.
