Flo Inez Nelson, age 97, of Albertville, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at her home.
Mrs. Nelson was a charter member of Bel-Air Missionary Baptist Church and very instrumental in the development of the church.
Her funeral service will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens. Rev. Welton Brooks and Rev. Nick Mitchell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Al Burttram, Andy Nelson, Chad Morris, Kelly Tarvin, Jarrod Nelson and Brian Morris. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Bel-Air Baptist Church; Gerald Cofield, James Tarvin, Ken Burttram, Dan Nelson, Paul Johnson and Randall Williamson.
Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10 until 12 before the service.
She is survived by her children, Marshall McCoy “Mac” and Karen Nelson, Tara Collins, John David and Edith Nelson, Dan and Teresa Nelson, Mark and Kathy Nelson, Robbie and David Tarvin grandchildren:Jarrod Nelson, Will Collins, Dana Sadlo, Tracy Siska, Shea Burke, Amber Minor, Emily Nelson, Angela Nelson, David Nelson, Allison Tarvin and Amanda Tarvin, great-grandchildren,Cole Nelson, Jordyn Collins, Dicie Siska, Joe Siska, Levi Burke, Osalyn Minor, Kennedy Minor and Carter Minor, brother, Dan Lemaster, Jr., special friends, Gail Corbin, Loretta Wilson and Neil Ellis.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John M. Nelson, daughter, Kay Nelson, nine brothers and two sisters.
