One Dead In One-Vehicle Accident Near Somerville

SOMERVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a death from a single-vehicle accident that occurred near Somerville on Saturday, September 28:

“A single-vehicle crash at 9:34 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, has claimed the life of a Somerville man.

Thomas Wayne Selby, 41, was a passenger in a 2003 Ford Mustang driven by James Dillon Bukszar, 26, of Somerville. The vehicle left the roadway on Charest Road and struck a tree. Selby, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.  Bukszar was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital.

The crash occurred seven miles north of Somerville. Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.”
