James Monroe FergusonJames Monroe Ferguson, 73 of Harvest, Alabama died on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at his home in Harvest, Alabama.

Born Sunday, June 30, 1946 in Limestone County Alabama, he was the son of John Alex Ferguson and Thelma May Parker.

He lived in this area most all his life and was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a good Christian man who loved the Lord. He was a loving husband, father, pawpaw and a very hard worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, and daughter, Laura Randolph.

He is survived by his wife, Birdie Ferguson, Harvest, AL; daughters, JoAnn (Richard) Bailey of Ardmore, AL, Mary (Bobby) Johnson of Toney, AL, Amanda (Kevin) Bishop of Huntsville, AL; Susan Sims of Athens, AL; sons, Charles Ferguson of Athens, AL, Michael Ferguson of Athens, AL; brothers, Eugene Ferguson of Athens, AL and Herbert Ferguson of Decatur, AL; sisters, Martha Gossett of Athens, AL and Sue Swann of North Carolina, grandchildren, Keith Bailey, BJ Bailey, Jonathan Randolph, Hailey Bates, Jessica Key, Brandon Wimmer, Karley Bishop, Abigail Bishop, Nathan Bishop, great-grandchildren, Alyssa Bailey, Natalie Bailey, Jackson Bradford, and Logan Henry Bradford.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in Toney, AL from 10:00 AM until 7:00 P.M.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 2:00 P.M.,at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in Toney, AL with Bro.Jerry Hovis officiating. Burial will be in Fords Chapel Cemetery, Harvest AL.
