Elizabeth Ann Neill, 83 of Huntsville, AL passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019. Liz was born in Limestone County on October 9, 1935. Liz was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Lillian F. Davis; brother, Charles Davis. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 61 years, William Troy Neill; sons, John L. Neill (Becky) and William Greg Neill (Laurie); seven grandchildren, Cambron Johnson, Blake Neill, West Neill, Zach Neill, Ben Neill, Jay Neill, and Hayden Neill; Brothers, Bobby Davis (Linda), Jerry Davis, and Mike Davis. Liz was born Limestone County on October 9, 1935. Liz met and married William (Troy) Neill who was enlisted in the U.S. Army and they served in France and Panama. Troy retired after 26 years in the service and then they lived in Huntsville, AL. Since, she enjoyed raising her two boys, John and Greg. Liz was the anchor of the family taking care of the house and overseeing the day to day activities of a busy home. Liz worked at Pearle Vision Center for 17 years, and retired in 2007. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and interacting with family and friends. Hummingbirds always brought a smile to her face and her backyard was full of them. The hummingbirds left on Tuesday the 24th to make their winter journey and the same day Liz entered heaven. Liz will be missed by all that knew her, but know we will see her again one day. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm in Valhalla’s Chapel.
