Celia Pegues, age 87, of Albertville, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2019 at Solitude Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Joey Cannady and Rev. Charles Dixon will officiate. Casket bearers will be Tracy Honea, Duane Scott,Ben Blackmon, Michael Warner, Sam Dixon and Christian Sutphin.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
She is survived by her daughters, Helen Gamble, Patricia Pegues and Juanita Bright, grandchildren, Allison Scott, Josh Pegues, Jake Pegues, Melissa Pegues, Jessica Pegues and Chance Bright, twenty great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild, and brother, Rex Hard (Marlene).
She is preceded in death by husband, Wayne Pegues, son, Tommy Pegues, parents, Sam and Julia Hard, five sisters and four brothers.
The family is accepting flowers or memorial donations may be made to Solitude Baptist Church Building Fund.
