Donald S. Swinea, 73, of Rogersville died Friday, September 13, 2019, at his residence.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019, 10 AM to 12 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM in the chapel with Dennis Hargett and Mike Willis officiating. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Dr. Jessica Bryant and husband Joseph; host of wonderful friends whom he loved so much.
Mr. Swinea will be missed by all who knew him, he was always willing to help you no matter what, no questions asked. His students at Brooks High School thought of him not only as their teacher but a true friend who was always there. He was the clock keeper for Brooks High Basketball for many years and worked the ticket box at all Football games.
