MUSCLE SHOALS – Confession here… Dr. Colagross’ vanilla ice cream was REALLY GOOD! Now to the story… Tuesday afternoon, Northwest Shoals Community College held Industry Night at the Muscle Shoals Campus. The event showcased the school’s 21st Century expanding direction into STEM educational programs, which are designed to provide new-tech skills to our region’s workforce.
The event, open to the public, showcased the various and sundry educational programs the school offers. In addition to the school’s display of educational offerings, many of our regions’ industries which are heading into the realm of new tech manufacturing were represented.
There were examples of the technical educational opportunities offered to students, as well as fun robotics demonstrations, informative talks at the different industry displays, and lots of really good food.
