Mr. Elmer Ervin Hayes, Jr., 73, of Scottsboro, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Pastor DJ Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hayes is survived by his sister, Mary (Mike) Smith; niece, Jessica Sanders; nephews, Michael (Jennifer) Sanders, Ryan Sanders, and Billy Joe Hayes, Jr.; 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Hayes; father, Elmer Hayes, Sr.; mother, Flora May Hayes; brother, Billy Joe Hayes, Sr.; and great nephew, Andrew Lee Smith.
