Bill UnderwoodBill Underwood of Lynnville passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2019 at his home. He was born on March 14th, 1926 and was 93 years old.
Bill was a retired school bus driver for Giles County, farmer, and also retired from Kraft and Foremost Dairy. He was a longtime member of the he Lynnville United Methodist Church
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 12th from 2:00pm until 5:00pm with a funeral service at 5:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Wayne Davis and Lanier Nail officiating.
Burial will follow in Lynnwood Cemetery with Scott Hanna officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Lynnwood Cemetery and Laird Cemetery
He was preceded in death his wife Clara H. Underwood, son, Jerry Wayne Underwood, Parents, Robert Green and Bertha Lee Evans Underwood, brothers, Cleve, Marvin, and Jim Underwood, and sisters, Rubie Sands, and Marice Hubbell.
He is survived by his,
Daughter, Betty (Dennis) Stanley of Lynnville
Son, Gary (Debbie) Underwood of Lynnville
Granddaughter, Beth (Jeff) Dault of Lynnville
Granddaughter, Rebecca (Brad) Clark of Lynnville
Grandson, Russ (Allison) Underwood of Lynnville
6 Great-Great Grandsons
Sister, Sara Page of Lynnville
Sister-in-law, Francis Hewitt of Lynnville.
Special Friends, Catherine and Kenneth Duke of Lynnville
